A Lifelong Love for Music
Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, Candace has been singing and writing songs since she was just five years old. Now based in Delaware, she carries a deep love for jazz, inspired by her musically gifted family. While studying classical music at Florida State University, she discovered her passion for jazz under the mentorship of renowned vocalist Inga Swearingen.
A Soulful Sound That Inspires
With a voice reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, and Lizz Wright, Candace captivates audiences worldwide. She has performed in tours, cruise ships, cabarets, regional theaters, and even at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in front of 16,000 people! Most recently, she toured with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group, The Platters, spreading her love for music across the globe.
Spreading Self-Love Through Music
Candace’s journey took a personal turn when she decided to celebrate herself by recording her first original song, "Still Cute," a powerful anthem about self-love. She followed it up with "Walk Away," a song that encourages everyone to embrace their true selves. Her message is clear: love yourself, celebrate your journey, and never be afraid to be YOU!
